One tunnel open to all comers, a diner and a mill behind a free account, and every rule of the gulch chalked on the board outside the store.
The amethyst tram waits at the adit mouth for anybody who walks up. Ride it on the home page or on its own page with free play coins; Jubal asks for no name, no email and no password, and there is nothing to tick.
Skillet Street and Gristmill Spill open once Jubal has your name on his slate, and the slate has only four boxes: a nickname, an email address, a password and a tick to say you are 19 or over. He never asks for a card, a street address or a phone number, since no counter in the gulch takes money. The slate earns its keep twice over: your coins and progress sit waiting on it until you ride back into town, and it keeps the reels for grown-ups. A single button on your account page wipes it clean, every mark included.
Jubal tips 100,000 free coins into your pan, along with anything Violet Adit paid you on the same device. From then on the tram, the diner and the mill all draw on that one pan, one level and one list of missions. Coins are virtual: no one in town will buy, sell, withdraw or exchange them for anything, and a win here has no real-world value.
The gulch keeps no in-app purchases and not one payment page, from the creek to the mesa.
Each of the three worlds sets out five reels in three rows. A win starts on the far-left reel and runs along fixed paylines over reels sitting side by side. Your stake gets split into equal parts, one per line; paytable values are multiples of that line bet, save for the scatter, which is paid on your total stake. Should a line hold more than one win, only its biggest is paid.
| Bonus in the seam | What it does to the spin | Where to dig for it |
|---|---|---|
| Tumbling reels | Like wheat down a chute: winning symbols drop out of sight, the ones above slide into the gaps and new symbols pour in from the top. Every link in that chain pays more than the last: x1 for the spin itself, x2 and x3 for the next two, and x5 for each tumble beyond. | Gristmill Spill |
| Multiplier that climbs the trestle | Once the free spins start, the multiplier rides up the trestle and stays up there until the round is done. | Violet Adit |
| Respin with the wilds stuck fast | A paid spin that pays nothing but shows a wild leaves each wild pinned to its spot, and the rest of the grid gets a free second turn around it. | |
| Last-reel respin | Two scatters on a paid spin that paid nothing, and reel five takes one more free turn, panning for the third. | |
| Doubled free spins at the diner | The diner’s round is the plainest in the gulch: land three scatters for free spins, and each win they bring is paid double. | Skillet Street |
Reel strips in the gulch are fixed: each holds the same symbols in the same order every time. When you spin, your browser’s random number generator picks a stop on each strip, independently of the others. No earlier spin leans on a later one, and the reels never shift to suit your balance or the hours you have played.
We ran each game’s own code through millions of spins to measure its return, hit frequency and feature frequency, and the results sit in that world’s paytable. They speak for coin play in these free games only, and tell you nothing about any real-money game.
Only adults of 19 or over belong in Pan Gold Gulch. The gold in every pan is virtual coin with no monetary value, and it cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged. Jubal’s store has no coin counter, no page on the site takes a payment, nothing of real-world value is ever handed over as a prize, and doing well in the gulch does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
